It was a beautiful Autumn day when I met Kristen and her two children at "the Potterage" in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges for a motherhood photo session.
What is a motherhood photo session?
A motherhood photo session is a session just for Mother's, that has a special emphasis on the bond they share with their children. The kind of photos every mother wants with her children; natural and authentic. Motherhood photography is defined by heart-fulled, loved up and connected images.
Why is motherhood photography so important?
As mother's we are often the ones taking the photos. We are never in them. We have a camera reel full of everyone else (and maybe a few selfies). So in an attempt to appear with our families we hand a camera off to our partner only to get back the most unflattering and poorly composed photo. But our children want to see us. They want to remember that their mother existed, that she lived and loved them..
